My Spanish friend César (who is a blogger too) is flying back home on Sunday, so this week we're trying to do and visit as much things as possible. Yesterday he suggested me to go to 63 Building, the tallest building in the city. It has 60 floors (and three under ground... Haha that's cheating!) and it's located in Yeouido, one of the most quiet financial areas in Seoul. We went there around 7pm with Gabriel (a Brazilian friend), Hayoung (César's Korean friend and our guide) and my Italian friend Andrea.
Mi amigo César vuelve para España defnitivamente el domingo ya, así que ésta semana estamos intentando hacer y visitar muchos sitios que aún nos quedan por ver. Ayer mismo me dijo de ir al 63 Building, el edificio más alto de la ciudad con 60 pisos (y tres subterráneos... Éso es trampa, Seúl!) en Yeouido, una de las zonas financieras pero más tranquilas de Seúl. Fuimos sobre las siete con Gabriel (un amigo brasileño), Hayoung (amiga de César y coreana) y mi amigo italiano Andrea.

We had to pay a ticket to get to get to the top (12.000 won, $11.30/8.30€), where we could enjoy the beautiful night views of the city while enjoying the small but interesting art gallery this building has.
Tuvimos que pagar tíquet para subir hasta arriba (12.000 won, $11.30/8.30€), donde pudimos disfrutar de las magníficas vistas nocturnas de la ciudad y de la pequeña galería de arte que hay también.

It was difficult to get good shots but at the end it was totally worth it.

They told us there was a cafeteria on top, so we decided to wait and have dinner there. But by the time we were done with our visit it was closed already. It was nearly 9.30pm so we started to desperately look for a place to eat...
Nos dijeron que había una cafetería arriba del todo, así que decidimos esperar y cenar allí. Pero cuando llegamos y terminamos la visita el bar ya había cerrado. Así que siendo ya las 9.30 de la noche tuvimos que volver a buscar un sitio donde cenar...
We ended up in IFC Mall, a very fancy and modern mall in Yeouido. We just went to Mc Donald's and we simply satisfied our tummies with a yummy and greasy quarter pound with cheese (No regrets!).
Terminamos en IFC Mall, un centro comercial bastantepijillo pero moderno en Yeouido. Simplemente fuimos directos al Mc Donald's y satisficimos nuestros estómagos hambrientos con una cuarto de libra con queso (sin arrepentirnos!).
Today morning I woke up early (as always) and as I didn't have class I went to have lunch on my own before meeting Shelley, my new Czech born Vietnamese friend in Seoul. I ordered Albab (egg roe rice), simple and satisfying! Yum.
Hoy por la mañana me desperté pronto (como siempre) y al no tener clase por la mañana fui a comer sola antes de quedar con Shelley, mi nueva amiga checa (nacida en Vietnam) en Seúl. Me pedí albab para comer (arroz con huevas de pescado), simple y sustancioso! Ñam.
Shelley and I met in Seoul Station at 1PM. She showed me around the area before going to the place we were actually going to visit...

Ta-da! Namdaemun Market, the most crowded, restless and biggest open market in Seoul. Full of stores selling all kinds of stuff, street food stands and old people pushing, haha.
Tachán! El Mercado de Namdaemun, el más grande bullicioso mercado al aire libre de Seúl. Lleno de todo tipo de tiendas, puestos de comida y gente mayor empujando, haha.

I took a beautiful picture of a man carrying empty food trays, then I lost him in the crowd.
Saqué una muy buena foto de éste hombre cargando con todas éstas bandejas de comida, cuando lo perdí entre la multitud.
Two minutes later I saw him on the floor because he had dropped the food trays while people was helping him :c I felt so guilty... (He was laughing though!).
Dos minutos después lo vi en el suelo recogiendo todas las bandejas mientras la gente lo ayudaba :c Me sabió muy mal... (Pero él se estaba riendo!).

After taking a break of all these people in Namdaemun Market, Shelly and I had a coffee together and we talked for almost two hours! Later we went to visit Sungnyemun (literally Gate of Exalted Ceremonies), one of the Eight Gates in the Fortress Wall of Seoul.
Después de tomarnos un respiro del Mercado de Namdaemun, Shelly y yo nos tomamos un café u estuvimos hablando durante casi dos horas! Más tarde fuimos a Sungnyemun (Puerta de los Ceremoniales), una de las Ocho Puertas en la muralla que rodea Seúl.
It was first built in the last year of King Taejo of Joseon's reign in 1398, and rebuilt in 1447. But in 2008, the wooden pagoda was severely damaged by arson. It was finally restored in May 2013. So happy I got the chance to see it!
Fue construida por primera vez en el último año del reinado Joseon con el rey Taejo en 1398, y reconstruida en 1447. Pero en 2008 un pirómano quemó la pagoda de madera, restaurada finalmente en mayo de éste año. Me alegra haber tenido la oportunidad de verla nueva!
