Goodbye Barcelona, goodbye my home.

On Tuesday the 26th at 1pm I'll be in Barcelona Airport, waiting for my flight to Dubai at 4.30! Sigh, I can't believe I'll be flying to the city of my dreams in less than 46 hours... :)  All I've been doing these days (appart from packing and buying presents for my friends) is meeting friends to say goodbye and everything. It all started on Monday with Saru, my blogger friend (here) who is coming to HUFS in February ^0^ I'm so happy such a good friend of mine is coming to study with me! We won't be in the same Korean course of course, but at least we'll have each other for anything we need :) I took her to have some bubble tea, it was her first time trying it actually! She picked vanilla and I picked taro&strawberry (taro it's always been my favourite! *-*).

El martes 26 a la 1 del mediodía estaré en el Aeropuerto de Barcelona, esperando mi vuelo a Dubai a las 4.30! Sigh, no me puedo creer que estaré volando a la ciudad de mis sueños en menos de 48 horas... :) Todo lo que he hecho éstos días (aparte de empaquetar y comprar regalos para mis amigos) ha sido quedar con mis amigos para decir adiós y demás. Todo empezó con Saru el lunes, mi amiga blogger que se viene a HUFS conmigo en Febrero ^0^ Estoy muy feliz que una amiga como ella se venga a estudiar conmigo! No estaremos en el mismo curso de coreano por supuesto, pero al menos nos tendremos la una a la otra para lo que necesitemos :) La llevé a tomar bubble tea, de hecho era su primera vez! Escogió vainilla, y yo cogí taro&fresa (taro siempre ha sido mi sabor favorito! *-*).

On Thursday I met two good friends from university: I met Marion for lunch first, my friend from second year who is going to Hangzhou (China) instead! We had lunch in a very nice Irish Bar in the city, there is a permanent 2x1 on lunches, so we shared two big dishes for 6€ each! *-* I love this place...

El jueves quedé con dos buenas amigas de la universidad: Primero a Marion para comer, mi amiga de segundo año que se va a Hangzhou (China)! Fuimos a comer a un bar irlandés muy bueno de la ciudad, hay un 2x1 permanente en almuerzos, así que pedimos dos platos compartidos pagando 6€ por persona! *-* Me encanta ése sitio!

Then I had dinner with Mariona, one of my best friends who is going to Taipei (Taiwan). She's not a fan of selfies so I we didn't take any XD We had a lovely meal at a cheap Korean restaurant in the city: We ordered dubu kimchi (Chinese spicy cabbage with tofu), naengmyon (cold noodles) and bibimbap (rice with vegetables, fried egg & spicy sauce). 

Ése día cené con Mariona, una de mis mejores amigas que se va a Taipei (Taiwan). No es muy fan de las fotografías así que no nos sacamos ninguna XD Comimos muy bien en nuestro restaurante coreano de confianza: Pedimos dubu kimchi, naengmyon y bibimbap.

The next day I had lunch with Alex, a friend of mine I met in my language academy two years ago. We went to an American diner for lunch, I ordered a chicken BBQ sandwich, yumyum ^_^ Later we had a walk around the mall, and he brought me to the best store in the place (???): The pet shop *0*

El día siguiente fui a comer con Alex, un amigo mío que conocí en mi academia de inglés hace dos años. Fuimos a un restaurante americano a comer, me pedí un sandwich de pollo con salsa barbacoa, yumyum ^_^ Más tarde fuimos a dar un paseo por el centro comercial, y entonces me llevó a la mejor tienda (???): La tienda de animales *0*

Squished bunniez *3* Tee hee...

Finally I had dinner in our Korean place again (sigh... XD) with my high school friends. Some of them  had never had Korean food, so they wanted to give it a try. We ate samgyeopsal mainly, but we ordered more things (jajangmyeon, mandu...). Some of them didn't taste the typical and original kimchi, though! XD (Cowards...)

Finalmente volví a cenar en nuestro querido coreano (sigh...XD) con mis amigos del instituto. Algunos nunca habían probado la comida coreana, así que querían probarla. Comimos básicamente samgyeopsal, pero pedimos más cosas (jajangmyeon, mandu...). Pero algunos no quisieron probar el original y típico kimchi! XD (Cobardes).

And sigh... What can I say! I feel like there's too much I want to confess, but I don't really know how to do it. So I made a video instead, haha! (I'll vlog more often from now on :D).

Y bueno... Qué puedo decir! Tengo la sensación de que hay mucho qye decir, pero no sé exactamente qué. Así que en vez de eso he hecho un video! (Haré más videos a partir de ahora, por cierto :D). Siento de que esté en inglés >_<

Travelling around Spain: Aragón and Castilla y León (Soria)

Hello there people! This is my second post about my four day-trip to the center of Spain :) today I'm gonna talk about what I did on Friday and Saturday. 

On Friday morning I woke up  and (as always) I petted Luna for a while after breakfast. Her black friend was just right next to her, but unlike her, he stayed away from me :( I wish he wasn't afraid of me, black cats have always been my favorites!

Hola gente! Éste es mi segundo post sobre mi viaje de cuatro días por el centro de España :) Hoy voy a hablar sobre lo que hice el viernes y el sábado.

El viernes por la mañana me levanté y (como siempre) acaricié a Luna un rato después de desayunar. Su amigo de color negro estaba justo a su lado, pero al contrario que ella, seguía sin acercarse a mi :( Ojalá no me hubiese tenido tanto miedo, los gatos negros siempre han sigo mis favoritos!

Then we drove till the province next to Zaragoza, in Soria (in a different autonomous community). It was a lovely trip, with rather desert landscapes in general. But once we got to Soria province I found out something I didn't expect...

Luego fuimos en coche hasta la provincia siguiente de Zaragoza, Soria (en una comunidad autónoma diferente). Fue un viaje muy bonito, con paisajes en general desérticos. Pero una vez llegamos a la provincia de Soria encontré algo que no me esperaba...

BAM! Sunflower fields left and right! *-* I love sunflowers, they're my favorite flower along with hibiscus! I had never been in a sunflower field, so I got super excited and I begged my parents's friend to stop and let me take some pictures ;_; But they told me I had to be patient and wait until the way back... *sigh*

Nunca había estado en un campo de ellos, me puse muy contenta y le supliqué al amigo de mi pare que por favor parara y me dejara sacar algunas fotos ;_; Pero me dijeron que tenía que ser paciente y esperar a la vuelta... *sigh*

My parents friends took us to a very special restaurant in Almazán. Their speciality was "torreznos", big pieces of fried shredded sauteed or grilled bacon. What can I say but wdesrtyjujhgbfvdertyjukjhgfd *drooling*.

Los amigos de mis padres nos llevaron a un restaurante muy especial en Almazán. La especialidad eran los "torreznos"- Qué puedo decir aparte de defjkhgfdsfgrthyj *babea*.

I don't know what this was doing in the middle of Spain, but I took a picture anyway XD

No sé que hacía éso en un pueblo del centro de España, pero le hice una foto igual XD

Once we were in the city I found myself sorrounded by sweet stores and bakeries *-* Everything looked so delicious, so I couldn't resist myself and I ended up buying four homemade muffins (nomnom). They costed me 0.40€ only! Super cheap, omg x_x If I had known the price before I would have bought a ton! 

Una vez en la ciudad me encontré rodeada de panaderías y tiendas de dulces *-* Todo tenía muy buena pinta, no me pude resistir y terminé comprándome cuatro magdalenas caseras (nomnom). Me costaron 0.40€ sólo! Súper barato x-x Si hubiese sabido cuánto valían de antes hubiese comprado una tonelada!

 Turns out there was a kind of medieval market that day, so we walked around this plaza.

Resulta que había una especie de mercado medieval ése día, así que dimos una vuelta por la plaza.

I finally convinced my parents's friend to stop right next to a sunflower field on our way home (Hehehehehe ♥♥♥) I loved in there, omg *-* I wish I had had more time to take photos and the weather hadn't been that hot, but I enjoyed my time there. It was... Breathtaking! :) 

Finalmente convencí al amigo de mi padre para que parara cerca de un campo de girasoles de camino a casa (Hehehehe ♥♥♥). Me encantó ése lugar *_* Ojalá hubiera tenido más tiempo para sacar fotos y el tiempo no hubiese sido tan caluroso, pero me gustó mucho. Era tan bonito que quitaba el aliento :)

That day in the afternoon we went back to Ariza and we had lunch there. It was our last day there, so around 6/7pm we decided to take the car and go for a walk in the countryside.  My parent's friends said they had something very beautiful and worth visiting to show us, so we just followed them...

It had rained a lot on friday, so there was this huge river of mud in the path... We had to walk by the sides, being careful not to step into the mud XD

So this is the surprise: El Árbol de la Vega! A beautiful 600 year-old oak tree ^_^ We had to cross a river to see it (using a wooden board as a bridge lol) but it was totally worth it! It reminded me of Grandmother Willow from Pocahontas for some reason :')

Y ésta es la sorpresa: El Árbol de la Vega! Un bonito roble de 600 años ^_^ Tuvimos que cruzar un río para verlo (usando una tabla de madera como puente lol) pero valió la pena! Por alguna razón me recordó a la Abuela Sauce de Pocahontas :')

We picked some rosemary we found in the way, to make closet air fresheners and for stews (ehehe)

We saw this flock of sheeps and a shepherd dog on our way back to the car  *-* What a typical and beautiful scenery of the countryside!
Vimos éste rebaño de ovejas y un perro pastor de camino al coche *-* Qué escena tan bonita y típica del campo!

Driving back to Ariza we saw those vultures in the mountains! They we super far away from us, but it was the first time in my life seeing wild ones. I wish I had brought my binoculars with me :(
De camino otra vez a Ariza vimos éstos buitres en las montañas! Estaban muy lejos de nosotros, pero era la primera ve en mi vida que veía buitres salvajes. Ojalá hubiera traído mis prismáticos en éste viaje :(

Finally we decided to walk around the village a little bit before dinnertime. We were leaving the next day in the morning and we hadn't even had time to do a proper walk in the place we were staying! XD It was nice and the weather wasn't too hot. We had a great and cool breeze that night, I slept like a rock!

Finalmente decidimos dar una vuelta por el pueblo antes de la cena. Nos íbamos el día siguiente por la mañana y no habíamos tenido tiempo de dar un paseo por el sitio donde nos alojábamos! XD Estuvo bien y o hacía demasiado calor. Tuvimos una brisa bien buena ésa noche, dormí como un tronco!

And that's all! :) Sorry for this super late post, I know I should've published it before but I haven't had time these days. Today I finished packing, even though I'm flying to Korea in five days I wanted to get my things ready and make sure my suitcase is not overweight and such (so I have time to take things out in case I have to). It's not too bad actually, I think I would feel more nervous or sad since I'm leaving home for a year, but not! Maybe it's because I still can't imagine I'll be in Korea on Tuesday, haha. It still feels like a dream! I might do a last post (a farewell one) before the flight, but we'll see. I still have to meet lots of friends and say goodbye to them, let's see if I have time!

Y eso es todo! :) Siento publicar esto tan tarde, sé que lo tendría que haber hecho antes pero éstos días apenas he tenido tiempo. Hoy he terminado de empaquetar mis cosas, a pesar de que me voy a Corea en cinco días quería preparar todo lo mío y asegurarme de que mi maleta no iba con sobrepeso (para así tener tiempo de sacar cosas de dentro si hace falta). No me va tan mal la verdad, me imaginaba que iba a pasarlo peor ya que me voy a vivir al extranjero durante un año, pero ni mucho menos! Seguramente sea porqué aún no me puedo imaginar que el martes que viene ya estaré en Corea, haha. Aún suena como un sueño para mí! Quizá escriba una última entrada (de despedida) antes del vuelo, pero ya veremos. Aún tengo que quedar con muchos amigos para decirles adiós, a ver si hay tiempo!
