Summer village n' shopping

I'm having a wonderful time with my family and Peter this week :) We're in the summer village I always spend my holidays in, in the north of Catalonia (Costa Brava area). He's loving the place so far! We have great and fresh food, warm but windy weather (so it's not super sticky) and many things to do. For example, a BBQ! ^_^ Last weekend my cousin came back from Regensburg (she lives in Bayern, Germany with her boyfriend since he works there as an engineer), so they brought back some authentic German sausages, yumymum!

Also big pieces of bacon, hehehehehe…

My cousin had some sausages left though! :P So today in the morning we had a typical Bavarian breakfast: Weisswurst & HÄndlmaier sauce (something like a sweet mustard)… Simply delicious! I just had three because I told myself to stop, otherwise I would've eaten the 20 of them XD

Later today we went to Palamós, the village next to mine (and bigger, haha) to celebrate my parent's 24th Anniversary. I just love this place, it looked so quiet and beautiful today…!

We had lunch at a rather fancy restaurant for the occasion :) We had watermelon gazpacho as a starter…

Our classic and mandatory "Pa amb tomàquet" (as good Catalans :B)

And finally our main courses :) my dad, Pete, my cousin's boyfriend and I ordered "arroz negro" (rice with squid ink), one of the best Spanish dishes along with "paella" (with very similar ingredients too).

Last but not least, my wild berries sorbet <3 So tasty but I couldn't finish it… I was too full x_x

Pete and I after our good but heavy meal ^_^ (I don't have my iron with me these days so I forgot about my bangs hahaha).

Then we walked around the village for a bit and we went back to the campsite we're in.

Now I want to show you guys the last things I bought myself, since this last Saturday I went to a flea market and I bought myself some new stuff:

This black lace jacket I fell in love with <3 I'm a lace lover so when I saw it I couldn't hesitate to buy it x_x

Those homemade painted sneakers were only 4€! I don't know if the drawing will fade with water, rain or other products, so I'll try to be careful when I wear them!

I got this green vintage dress from my aunt. She bought me a purse I didn't like for my birthday, so I went back to the store and I changed it for something I actually like. When I saw it there I didn't think it twice… I grabbed the dress, found my size and straight to the fitting room! Luckily it looked great, yay! I've always wanted a dress like this ^_^

And oh! I bought myself those flats in a friend's Asos Marketplace website (sorry for the super-bad quality >_<). Laia is a well-known blogger in Catalonia (and Spain I bet too!) who sells her clothes on this website. I thought those are totally my style so I bought them the next day I saw, them haha! Fortunately I know Laia in person, and since we're almost neighbors I went to her place to pick em up (I saved shipping money, yay!). You totally should check out her blog if you like fashion :)

And this is all by now! I'm having a great time with my family and boyfriend, so I guess I can't complain at all. I know this time will be over eventually, but I should be positive about it and see how much I'm enjoying my summer vacation this year. It'll be hard once he's back home but well… We all have things to do this upcoming semester :) Hope things go as good as expected!

Birthday parties and flea markets

Today (Monday) I started my week-off, yay! Best thing is, I had a really good weekend before that! On Saturday Sarah invited me to her birthday party. Sarah is a classmate and friend of mine, and we went with Marina (another classmate) and Ida (a friend of them) to a Japanese restaurant for lunch ^_^

I ordered Takoyaki and rainbow rolls *0* I loved it!

Marina (left), Sarah (center) and me ^_^

Later in the afternoon we want to a Japanese art gallery/tea house in the city called Akashi. I loved it there, I must go back with other friends as soon as I can >_< You guys know I'm a huge tea fan!

They sold postcards too, omg juhgfdcsmnhbgfvc <3 I couldn't resist one of my biggest temptations and I bought some. Some of them were sold as donations for the Fukushima disaster. I helped people, and they helped me on my personal hobby. What else can I ask for? :) And I'll definitely buy more when I'm back.

I ordered Matcha Latte and Chiffon Cake ^_^

Àngel (left), Sarah (middle), me and Marina :)

I had a really nice day with them! ^_^ I spend way too much money, but if it's once a while it doesn't hurt hah :) Hope I can do this more often, I really like them and I think we have more things in common then I would've thought! Thanks for inviting me, girls :) Happy belated birthday to both! <3

Later I went shopping with Àngel since he wanted some fashion advice, haha. We went to some stores and he ended up buying a hoodie in Pull&Bear. We walked around the city center and I handed out some curriculums too (I've been looking for a part time job for ages >_< I'm not giving up, though!). We took a selca when we were on the line for paying XD

I swear to God Buddha this is the first and last usamimi I will ever wear. Weird face but who cares, we both look derp XD

On Sunday I went to a flea market in the city with Lucas and Raquel. It's usually held once a month, and I try to go as much as I can. I brought my DLSR this time and I took really nice pictures ^0^ The day was kind of windy and cold, but there wasn't a single cloud in the sky and the light was great. Such a good way to spend a Sunday morning! :)

I just fell in love with with this Chow Chow puppy degfkiljhgfdsdfgjukijhgf ;A; He was so puffy and adorable! <3

I regretted not buying those beige shoes or the blue Emericas... But I didn't have the money ;_; *sobs*

Seriously considering buying a Polaroid when I go to Korea

Raquel bought herself a bag and a pair of boots, and Luckie didn't buy anything! Later we walked around Las Ramblas (one of the most famous and crowded streets in Barcelona) and we turned right to carrer Ferran, where we stopped to have a tea and talk a little bit.

Once I got home I took a picture of my two purchases of the day: A spiky bracelet for 3€ and a Cambells Soup shirt for 2€ :) You guys like them?

And that's how I spent my weekend! Nothing else to say by now ^_^ I want to update with a photography post soon but I'll wait for more interesting things to happen to me lol XD I'll be enjoying my free time this week, so wish me the best on my responsabilities (sleep as much as I can to stay flawless and meet my friends now that I can!). I'll be starting my 2nd semester the 11th though but hey! It's still a long way, I have a few more days to procastinate and enjoy my freedom ;)

Thanks for reading, and happy Feb break to everyone! ;)

End of exams, shopping&food to make it up and less snail mail

Ican say I'm officially free :) Yes! Haha, I finished my International Relations project and I took my exam, so it's done. I'm pretty proud about that last one, and the results weren't bad at all either so... YAY me ^_^ Now it's time to rest for a bit until the new semester starts.

One of the things I did once I finished exams was GOING SHOPPING. AGAIN. YES. I know, I shouldn't (???) but I just needed it >_< Good thing is (and turns out to be my legit excuse) I didn't buy ANYTHING from the newest collection haha, so everything are still from sales. Sales usually last a month in Spain, we have one round in January and a second one in July (for my birthday, YAY 8D). Anyway, I'm gonna show you what I bought this last week :)

I got this beige jumper in Pull&Bear (internationally speaking, it's just a Zara sub-brand). It was 9€ only and I fell in love with it, but honestly I hated those little pearls on the shoulders, so I decided I would cit them once I got home (since they were sewed). So that's what I did 8D

This robot blouse is from Zara, and I knew it had to be mine since the first time I saw it <3 It's so geek and adorable I couldn't resist  it! x_x

This is my first maxi-bag! Haha~ I really like it, and it's also from Pull and Bear. It was 6€ only! (and the original price was 30€, so I guess that was a good deal 8D). I can use it to go to uni too, it's so big it even fits my folder hah :) I'm proud of this purchase, definitely!

Last but not least, this sleeveless shirt from Pull&Bear too! It's the first time I get something spiked, and it was 8€ so I said, why not? :) One of the things I really want now is a spiked white headband ;_; I've been looking for it EVERYWHERE! I guess I'll check eBay if I'm lazy enough to go look for it to the city centre XD

Also, I've been meeting my friends recently!

With Lukey this afternoon: We had (lol well, I had) a Caramel Frappé and a chocolate cake c:

With Raquel on Thursday: Typical Chen Ji menu, homemade noodles and xiaolongbao <3

With my cousin and auntie at Caelum (a cafeteria in Barcelona where nuns bake all the pastries) last Tuesday: More chocolate cake (melted with strawberry jam) and Jasmine Tea. Speechless <3

With Alex: Last weekend at George Payne's Irish Bar. Huge plate of nachos and BBQ chicken wings <3 What else do I need?

Good thing is... I have a b-day party meal tomorrow with some friends of mine ^_^ We're going to a Japanese restaurant and then to a Japanese bakery! I'm so happy awww, can't wait >_< <3

Also, I've been getting less and less mail those days. It's easy to see that I had to break up with several penpals of mine :\ But well, at least I got some cute things I really appreciate :)

I sent Alice (Taiwan) a pack with old coins my grandpa gave to me, so she "repayed" me sending tons of kawaii stationery and note pads ^_^ Thanks sweetheart! We can barely find such things in Spain, and the ones we have are pretty expensive >_< She also sent me a New Year's postcard, but I'll leave the picture for another post :) Also, she sent me fake money and the typical red envelopes ^_^

This is my first and last letter with Hannah (Macau). Her first letter got lost in the way and it took like 2 months to get her second letter :\ Also, because of the Korea thing. I'm happy I finally got it though! She also sent me a typical red envelope explaining why they're so important for Chinese New Year's ^_^

However, I got many postcards those last few weeks! I realized I should keep going with my collection over letters... :\ They're just random swaps whenever I have postcards available, so I guess it's easier to control rather than having tons of mail due to send asap. I'm still trying to save and I'll do my best from now on :)

Last weekend I was still on exams, but my mom was in a good mood or something (?) and she bought some quality beef to make some raclette at home. Raclette could be defined as "the European version of samgyeopsal" somehow haha, but instead of using an iron, we use a stone. Basically, it's stone-grilled steak at home :) My dad got one for his birthday and we use it once every month or two months.

Table set :) Mom also cut some veggies to grill with the steak (potatoes, green pepper, leek, onion, artichokes...). Olive oil, black pepper, salt and... Yumyum ^_^

*Drools*

My pieces of take, sliced potatoes and chopped artichokes

Strawberries and Greek youghurt with sugar as a dessert! ;_____; <3

Well, and I guess this is enough for this last week I couldn't update :) I'm happy and relieved now! I should get ready for my 2nd semester but cmon... The weekend just started! I also want to go out at night with my friends (what a pity temperatures are dropping down tomorrow ;_____;!!!). Well, let's see what I can do! I really wanted to update the blog hah, I feel like I've been abandoning it these days and that's the least thing I'd do! Oh and, as you can see, I've changed the theme again XD Sorry about that lol but I don't feel like it looks professional... I want to change it but I don't know how ;_; I'm bad at those HTML thingies tbh... I guess I'll do something if this blog ever becomes popular! lol I realised my mom reads my posts too, she stalks me and tries to understand what I write, and she refuses to use Google Translate (good mommy!). Haha if you ever read this, thanks for reading mom! :D (lol this is lame -__-)

Can't wait to go to Korea so my life will be more interesting XD Today I've accepted my exchange place by the way! Now it's 100% official I'm going to HUFS! Yay :)

Have a Happy February you all! <3 I'll try too hah (I promise nothing ;D)
Love,

CL

Ihwa Mural Village

Hello sweethearts! Recently many people have been told to stop with this blog hiatus of mine haha, so I'm back again with my blog posts...
